LEGACY RUN (August 17th thru 21st) For information on donations, National's Ride Plan, Registration, Hotels, ect. The Pony Express is proud to participate in The American Legion Legacy Run. We are not only invited from the highest level but counted on to help make the Legacy Run successful. All PE Riders should participate even if they only ride a few miles from one station to another. This is what we are all about. To see more about the Legacy Run click here. Make sure you sign up for the Legacy Run. Where ever you get people to donate send that money into the Legacy Run and carry the pledge to Phoenix or the next PE Station. So as soon as you got even a tentative idea of where and when your leaving, the route, any stops, and ETA please let me know so I can get you on the map for others to see also. It doesn't matter at this stage how short or how long your ride is. You may be riding all the way to Phoenix. You may only want to ride across town to a neighboring Post. It doesn't matter. You can send your donations in to the Legacy Run Headquarters, transfer pledges to other PE you hook up with, or carry your donation/pledges to Phoenix personally. IT DOESN'T MATTER - THIS IS THE AL PONY EXPRESS - THIS IS WHAT WE ARE ALL ABOUT.
I know that any ride plan now is only tentative but getting you up on the map is important to encourage others, increase donations, and pull all of us together.

When you find yourself waiting for our next call to arms please use that time to further organize your area of coverage. We will always need more PE Messengers and PE Stations. So please keep asking America to join us - anyone, anywhere, anyplace. |
